Glass Lovers Glass Database

I was born in San Francisco, California; I now live in the South Bay in San Jose. I grew up in a little town called Los Gatos, where I would spend my days riding my Horse in the hills around our house. I have 2 sons and have been married for 30 years.

I started collecting Candlewick 20 years ago. My Mother in law has collected it for many years. We went on a trip to Washington State

for a visit, I looked into her China Closet and said, what is that lovely beaded glass? When I came home I started buying Candlewick books.

 I also collect Jadite, and old kitchen glassware from the 1940s and 50s. I also have a passion for Art Glass, I have Lundberg, Correia, and many others. My other glass  interests are Carnival, Northwood, Stretch Glass and Lady Flower Frogs. 

I  published my  book a few years ago," Imperial Candlewick Look-A-Likes".

 I was seeing so many  look a likes, reproductions and new imports on eBay,

being sold as Imperial  Candlewick I wanted to identify the other beaded glass.

I have catalog pages of the "Boule" glass that has never been published in the US before. I got them from a friend, who lives in France, He contacted me, with ID's for all the "Boule" Glass on my Look A Like website, they had been unknown to me for a long time.

I am very fortunate to have found several on-line glass groups with wonderful mentors who have so graciously shared their knowledge with me.

I continue to study, buy books and learn new thing about glass.
