I am a New Member of GLGD and my name is Susan Culley.   I am the owner of Camelot Collectables and Antiques, an eBay Store, user name sculley7748.   I started buying on eBay in 2005 and soon found I was hooked. It didn’t take me long to realize that if I wanted to continue to buy, I had to sell some things. I am a collector, on the verge of being excessive. I started by auctioning a few things I thought I could part with and in doing so it expanded my limited knowledge of the computer and the internet to research the items I was selling, plus it gave me an additional source of income that is always helpful.

I grew up surrounded by antiques. Both my parents inherited and collected antiques themselves and  at one time owned an Antique Store.  They taught me to recognize quality items and to appreciate their historical value and monetary worth. After their death a couple of years ago I inherited the majority of their possessions which were passed down to them or collected over their 64 years of marriage. I spent months researching their items I now owned and pieces that weren’t quite to my taste I’d auction on eBay.  I’ve learned so much in my research from different websites and still use them today as a source of identification and pricing for the items I sell in my eBay store.  I love what I do and have turned a part time hobby and interest into a full time job since taking early retirement two years ago.

I opened my eBay store in January of 2008 and have achieved Power Seller status and Top Rated Seller, plus received 100% Feedback from my Buyers. Besides selling a few of my own personal antiques and vintage collectibles, I shop weekly Upscale Estate Sales, Antique Malls and Thrift Stores to find items to sell in my eBay store. I now have over 550 items listed for sale in my store. I specialize in Porcelain, China, Crystal, Depression and Carnival Glass, Vintage 40’s - 60’s Glass, Antique Collector Plates, Asian and Oriental Accents, Vintage Collectables and Primitives, but you never know what you might find in my store for sale. I add new items each and ever week.  I hope you'll take a look if you have a few minutes.

I've never joined a group before and I am very excited.  I hope that I will be an asset and can contribute to its success.  I am always eager to share my knowledge and to offer a helping hand when needed.
